Ingredients

For the Bulgogi Burgers:

For the Gochujang Mayonaisse

  • 1/4 cup (56 g) Mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon (1 tablespoon) gochujang
  • 1 tablespoon (1 tablespoon) Sesame Oil
  • 2 teaspoon (2 teaspoon) Sesame Seeds
  • 1/4 cup (25 g) Chopped Green Scallions, chopped
  • 4 (4) hamburger buns for serving

Instructions

  • In a large bowl, mix ground beef, gochujang, soy sauce, garlic, ginger, sugar, sesame oil, chopped onions and salt and allow the mixture to rest for 30 minutes or up to 24 hours in a refrigerator.

  • Divide the meat into four portions and form round patties, with a slight depression in the middle to prevent the burgers from puffing out into a dome-shape while cooking.

  • Set your air fryer to 360F for 10 minutes and place the patties in a single layer in the air fryer basket.

  • Make the Gochujang Mayonnaise: While the patties cook, mix together the mayonnaise, gochujang, sesame oil, sesame seeds and scallions.

  • Using a meat thermometer, ensure that the meat has reached an internal temperature of 160F and remove to a serving tray.

  • Serve the patties with hamburger buns and the gochujang mayonnaise.

  • Nutritional Info does not include buns
  • I suspect the final recipe has less fat since the air fryer renders fat into the basket. Either way, these are keto/lowcarb so enjoy!

I made these a few weeks ago, and forgot to tell you how AMAZING they were! I made them exactly as the recipe is written, except made them on the outdoor grill. My picky-ish husband didn't love the sauce, but he loved the burgers! I loved all of it! Please keep the delicious recipes coming - you haven't steered me wrong yet!

Made these with Hawaiian hamburger buns tonight. Transcendental. Okay, not so authentic, and definitely not keto but wow!

I will try this recipe. Gochujang mayo sauce sounds good. I want to introduce some korean flavors to my turkish friends. Thanks for the recipe!
Anyways, just wanted to point out that bulgogi is not typically pork. It is typically beef. We do have pork spicy bulgogi which is marinated in gochujang sauce. Thanks!

Oh my goodness, this was delicious. I love Korean food, so naturally i had to try this one. I do have to admit, I did not measure the ingredients but ballparked them. I was also a bit concerned with the amount of sesame oil. But i should not have to worry, your recipes are perfectly seasoned and balanced.

I did not have an air fryer and cooked in the pan on stovetop. I did not make the mayonaise and did not use burger buns, but ate it as part of a salad and it was delicious. If I could give you and the recipe 10stars, I would.
